Connecting the Birdwatching & Bird Conservation

As part of our tourism development initiative, in July 2019, ArAVEs bird conservation NGO partnered with FPWC to develop a specialized birdwatching trail in the Vayots Dzor region.

Through this collaboration, field experts identified numerous bird species along the route connecting Gnishik village to Khndzorut, at elevations between 2000-2300 meters above sea level.

The trail has been carefully mapped, and informative signboards for birdwatching enthusiasts will be installed throughout the area soon!
