Learning about Persian Leopard

Y2019 is announced as a Persian Leopard conservation year by Ministry of Environment of Armenia.

The guest of ArAves Eco-club was Dr. Iman Memarian, Iranian biologist, and veterinarian. One of his main scientific projects is the research and conservation of Persian Leopard (Panthera pardus tulliana). During the meeting he talked about the Leopard’s lifestyle, behavior and new discoveries that have been done during the project in Iran. He highlighted all threats that species face in Iran and region, and discussed the conservation actions needed for species protection.
