Volunteers are welcomed to take part in Bird count and monitoring activities of protected areas in Caucasus Wildlife Refuge (CWR), which is established to conserve rear and endemic biodiversity of Armenia, wildlife migratory corridors and work as a buffer zone for Khosrov national Reserve.
CWR is a privately protected area of 30 thousand hectares in Ararat and Vayots Dzor provinces of Armenia which is established by Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC). From mammals we can observe Bezoar Goat, Armenian Mouflon, Caucasian Lynx, Syrian Bear and if very, very luck Persian Leopard.
